You eventually find an unoccupied STALAGTITE.
As you make your way down it you find a nice spot to cuddle up to the STALAGTITE.
You have successfully spun a cocoon up there. In two sweeps you will emerge as a young troll and face harrowing trials to gain a lusus.
The terrifying beast seems to care naught for your shenanigans.
You continue onward and up, hoping to secure a STALACTITE for yourself.
Eventually you find that the wall has started to curve.
You can’t see it too well, but you can sense that there’s something there, a sharp STALACTITE hangs in front of you. It appears to be occupied by a LUSUS of some kind.
You begin to go up.
Your not sure how far, but you have the oddest feeling that it’s the right thing to do.
You consume the remaining insects in the area.
Still not full. You turn and check the small recess again. There’s no more food here.
There are things on the celing, your not sure what they are but … you can’t help but look at them for a while, look really good.
You want to go up there. It feels like your too close to the ground.
You continue the exam!
However no matter how many of these fellas you eat you just don’t feel very filled by it.
The ABYSS seems to have no end. There is no way for you to measure and your not quite sure what the word measure even means! There are some shapes you can see down there, doubtlessly you’d be able to see whatever’s down there better if it wasn’t so darn bright in here.

Now that there’s something in your belly you start to become more aware of your surroundings, most importantly your reletive location and the ammount of space around you.
Your in a LARGE RECESS in a CAVE. There is plenty of room for you to wriggle about and as you do so you are able to access which part is the end of the respite block and which end leads out into a DARK ABYSS.
